Improve you wrestling skills. How do you get better at wrestling without a partner? Teach yourself to utilize tools and drills so that you no longer rely on always having a partner to work with.
One of the biggest issues in our sport is the inability to find an open mat in the off season or when you want to get late night workouts in. Often we substitute what could be great technical workouts for lifts or runs. These get us stronger and overall better at wrestling, but improve our wrestling skills none.
